Best of Toastmasters – East Africa 2016

BEST OF TOASTMASTERS EAST AFRICA (BOTEA) 2016; EAST AFRICA’S BIGGEST PUBLIC SPEAKING EXTRAVAGANZA

On the 25th June  2016, the Toastmasters Clubs in East Africa will come together to bring you the biggest public speaking extravaganza in the region for the year 2016 at the Nairobi Safari Club. Mark your calendars and brace yourselves for East Africa’s most practiced speakers.

Charges for the event are 3500 KES.  However, there are early bird tickets available for only 3000 KES up to the 15th of May 2016.

This Toastmasters event themed, “Celebrating conversations and leadership”, is the ultimate experience of the Toastmasters calendar in the region in which members showcase their prowess in public speaking in contests evaluated on different attributes of what make great speakers. Attendance is open both to members and non-members.

If you appreciate excellent oratory or are a fan of the Queen’s language spoken with poise and mastery, this is surely an experience you will enjoy. There is bound to be a mix of both informative and amusing content as the speakers express their different personalities.

Moreover, there will also be a contest for children in which they will showcase their public speaking skills and present their ideas. This is a great opportunity for children to learn and take steps toward becoming masterful speakers.

Best of Toastmasters East Africa is not solely for Toastmasters by Toastmasters but it is an opportunity to learn, interact and network with individuals keen on personal growth and self-development. Members from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Ethiopia are expected to attend the event.

Apart from the speeches by participants, and the keynote speakers there will be wining, dining and merriment as clubs jostle in a friendly competition to outdo each other for the coveted prize of the top Toastmasters Club in East Africa.
